Jack Moons
Owner and Master Electrician
Throughout my working career I have enjoyed a diverse spectrum of experience in many areas which started well before I became an electrician. From farm equipment mechanics and welding to fire restoration construction to a fencing and decking business I strive at being proficient at whatever I am doing. My electrical direction started with an Electronics Technician diploma at Conestoga College.
My electrical apprenticeship covered a very wide variety of sectors - commercial, residential and with the majority in industrial settings. Food processing, feed mills and automotive parts factories were common projects. After becoming a licensed electrician I spent a few years as lead hand in commercial and residential projects which strengthened my leadership skills. My next step was at Toyota Motor Manufacturing as a maintenance electrician which helped develop experience in robotics, PLCs and other automation techniques. Finally, the desire to be my own boss inspired me to write for my master electrician license, and upon completion, obtained all the necessary licenses and with the support of past contacts and reputation of quality work, started my own electrical company.
